Be Mine, Valentine

Be Mine, Valentine By: boysluvcraft
Part one…

Kurama was pouring through his closet, looking for just the right thing to wear. It was Valentines Day and the former Reikei Tantei gang was getting together for a party at the Kuwabara residence. Yusuke would be there with Keiko. Botan was coming to see Shizuru and Keiko. And of course, Yukina was coming too. Kuwabara was going to give Yukina a ring this year, not an engagement ring mind you. He wanted to wait until he had a steady job before asking her to marry him. This was just a ring, a gesture of his love for her.

With Kuwabara working the romance on Yukina, there was a good chance Hiei would show up to chaperone from the shadows. Kurama was hoping the smaller demon would come. The two of them were once so close, they used to spend nearly every other day together. Kurama remembered those times fondly. When he had gotten home from school, Hiei would be waiting for him in the tree outside his bedroom window. Of course Hiei would never have admitted to waiting on the fox. Hiei always claimed that he just happened to have been resting in a tree that happened to be next to Kurama’s window. Kurama would make them lunch and Hiei would say he wasn’t hungry, but then he would end up eating half of Kurama’s when Kurama ‘accidentally’ got twice as much as he could eat. Kurama missed those days of training sessions in the forest, and the relentless teasing back and forth. He missed the way Hiei would wrinkle his nose when he was annoyed, and how he used to sneak into his room on rainy nights.

Kurama really hoped to see Hiei. He’d even made a special surprise for him. It was a home made chocolate wrapped in red foil and tissue and placed in a neat little box with a pretty little bow. The night before Kurama was making a batch of his miniatures for the party when it occurred to him that Hiei has probably never gotten a valentine chocolate before. In all likelihood, he’d never even heard of the tradition. So, Kurama made one just for him. Kurama imagined the cute look of confusion Hiei would wear when he gave it to him.

“Ah, I’m so wicked,” Kurama smiled to himself as he dressed for the party.

Upon arrival Yusuke rushed to meet him, “Hey Kurama! You made it. Wait. Are you alone?” Yusuke looked around for a phantom date.

“I’m alone,” Kurama said with exasperation because he knew what was coming next.

“You don’t have a date? Come on! A good looking guy like you should be able to find a girl. I mean, it’s Valentines Day--”

“The most romantic day of the year,” Kurama cut him off. “I know. Goodness I got the same speech from my mother. Yusuke, could you imagine trying to introduce a girl to you lot. Oh hello, my love, I’d like to meet my friends, they’re all demons, save for the psychic siblings over there. Oh and this is Keiko.”

“Okay, I get that,” Yusuke laughed. “Hey, you ever think of hooking up with Shizuru? If you went out with her you wouldn’t have to worry about the secret double life stuff, ‘cause she already knows.”

“I don’t think I’m her type,” Kurama said tactfully. God, when was he going to figure out Shizuru was a lesbian?

“Whatever, but you know it’d do you good to find a little love-- or at least a little ass. At least one of us should be getting laid! Oww!”

“What was that Yusuke?” Keiko had saddled up behind Yusuke just in time to hear that last remark. He received a firm whack on the head for it.

Kurama slipped away from the dispute. Just then the front door opened permitting entrance to Yukina who was followed by a very sullen looking Kuwabara. He had been happy when he left to meet Yukina at the train station. The reason for his foul mood walked in right behind him. It was Hiei. Kurama visibly brightened upon seeing the small apparition. He rushed over to greet him.

Yusuke muttered, “Then again, maybe there is some reason why Kurama doesn’t date women.” The comment earned him another slap from Keiko.

Hiei hadn’t intended on coming to human world that day. It was the day of a human holiday dedicated to love, romance, and all that garbage. To Hiei it was just another cold day in February. He had no reason to be there. Mukuro, the meddling old woman, had insisted he take the day off to visit his sister and his old friends, maybe spend the day with someone special-- her words. Stupid old woman, Hiei has never had, nor had he ever been foolish enough to hope to have ‘someone special’.

“Hiei, you came,” An excited fox accosted him as soon as he entered the door.

Hiei acknowledged him with a nod. The fox must have been glad to see someone else there who wasn’t permanently attached to another. Hiei could see the ex-detective jumping though hoops for his human female. Yukina and the fool were inseparable. There was Shizuru over there, flirting with Botan. It was odd the ferry woman had the night off; the suicide rate on Valentine’s was very high.

Hiei commented, “You don’t have a woman tonight.”

“A date, Hiei,” Kurama corrected his choice of words. “And no, I don’t.”

“That’s funny. I thought that this human culture in which you are determined to fit into demands that you have spend this particular day with a partner of some sort,” Hiei said smugly. Hiei was actually pleased to see that the fox alone. It would mean Kurama would be himself for the night. He never said as much out loud, but Hiei really did hate to watch Kurama playacting as an upstanding, mild mannered human when in truth he was a wild animal, a demon. If he had brought a woman with him, he would surly fall into his gentile act.

“Well, I’m with you now,” Kurama gave him an innocent smile that was actually far form innocent, “And we used to be partners of a sort.”

“Partners in crime. But that wasn’t the kind of partner I meant and you know it,” Hiei glared at the fox.

“I understand, you don’t want to spend Valentines evening with me,” Kurama put on an obviously fake pout.

“Hn, I’m not dignifying that with an answer,” Hiei crossed his arms.

Kurama’s pout split into a grin, “Oh, you’re no fun. That reminds me come here, I’ve got something for you,” Kurama seized the short apparition by the hand and pulled him into the kitchen. In the kitchen, Hiei leaned against the counter and watched as the fox glanced around to make sure they were alone. Then he reached into his blazer pocket and produced a small pink box with a red ribbon on it. He handed it to Hiei. Hiei stared at the box in puzzlement.

“It’s a chocolate,” Kurama explained. “I made it special just for you, because I--”

“Hey, Kurama, you in here?” Shizuru’s head popped in through the swinging kitchen door, “Ah, there ya are fox-boy. Yusuke and my bro are out here trying to hook up the speakers on the stereo. You think you could give em a hand before these two geniuses electrocute themselves or worse, break the stereo.”

“Oh, um, yes,” Kurama responded hurriedly. “Sorry, Hiei, there seems to be a pressing matter at hand. I’m sure we’ll have time to talk later.” With that he rushed to the next room and from the sounds of Yusuke‘s curses, just time.

For a moment Hiei stood where he was, wondering whether or not he wanted to go back into the main room to wittiness whatever tomfoolery was going on there. At that moment Botan entered the kitchen for whatever reason, and thus some bizarre female senses kicked in. She zeroed in on the package that was rested absently in Hiei’s hand.

“Ohmygosh!” she babbled, “Did someone give you a valentines chocolate?!” She said it like it was a big deal.

“Is it significant?” he asked her.

“You don’t know what a chocolate means?” She was taken aback.

He shook his head.

“Valentines is a holiday of love.” She explained, “If someone gives you a present on Valentine’s Day it means they love you.”

“What?” The idea hit Hiei like a blow to the solar plexus, mostly because the idea never occurred him before. Kurama loved him? No, Kurama didn‘t love anyone, but that human mother of his. He sure as hell wouldn’t love him. No one would want to love him. What the hell does this blue haired dingbat know?

“You don’t believe me?” Botan could see the skeptical look on his face. Does this person like to spend time with you, and miss you when your gone? Do they think of you all the time? Do they like doing nice things for you? Think about it Hiei.”

“Hn,” Hiei grunted, “mind your own business.” He left her in the kitchen.

“Mind my own business, indeed,” she stamped her foot. “It not like I was asking who it was…. Hmm, I wonder who it was. Oh, a secret romance. I‘m so jealous!”

Kurama sunk down on a comfy chair, after having prevented a fist-fight between Yusuke and Kuwabara, and hooking up the stereo that had flustered them into violence. He sipped punch and watched all the happy couples. Kuwabara was acting goofy for Yukina. Shizuru was acting cool for Botan. And Yusuke… well, he was behaving at the moment and Keiko seemed to appreciate that. Kurama sighed. To be honest he was getting tired of the happy couples. He told people that he was happy on his own. They never believed him. His mother was always trying to set him up with ‘nice young ladies’. He made up excuses not to date, like being busy with school or what not. Just last week after dodging a date with the neighbor’s granddaughter, his step father took him aside for a little talk. He told Kurama that he thought he understood what he was going through. And no matter what he decides, they’ll always be a family that loves him. Mr. Hatanaka thought he was gay. If only that was the greatest of his worries. Kurama couldn’t help but chuckle, remembering the incident.

“Something funny Kurama?” Yusuke asked him.

“It’s nothing,” Kurama told him, “Just remembered a good joke I heard once.

“Kurama, what are you doing sitting here all alone?” Botan joined the group, “And more importantly why don’t you have a date? It’s Valentines you know--”

“The most romantic day of the year,” Kurama and Yusuke finished it in unison.

“He’s been hearing it all day, Botan.” Yusuke told her. Then to Kurama, “See, here’s another good reason to find yourself a girl or something; you won’t have to listen this crap anymore.”

“Yusuke, watch your language!” Keiko scolded him.

Another Yusuke-Keiko argument was in the offing. It’d be over in a few minutes and they’d forget all about it. Kurama took the opportunity to slip out. As he walked out onto the deck he thought, maybe they were right. It would be nice to have someone else. Someone he could hold, make love to, whisper secrets to in the night. But finding that someone... now that was the trick. Kurama didn’t think he could be happy with a human lover, because he would have to lie to them, constantly. He couldn’t let them know he was a demon, let alone an ancient fox spirit known far and wide for his treachery and cruelty. Having to pretend to be someone you’re not… it kind of defeats the purpose of having a close lover.

The other alternative would be to take a demon lover. Yes, the thought had occurred to him. But this was just as trickily. He had decided long ago to live his life as a human. Most demons thought human’s were inferior, at best. If he had a demon lover, that lover wouldn’t want to be party to that part of his life. Once again, sort of defeats the purpose.

Kurama brushed away his thoughts when he saw Hiei sitting on the deck railing. “Oh, I didn‘t know you were out here.”

Hiei was fingering the bow on the package Kurama had given him, “What’s the meaning of this?” He asked point blank.

“It’s a present. I was just thinking about you, and thought it would be nice to get you present, especially today,” he said off handedly. “I was glad to see you came tonight. You don’t come around nearly often enough. You know, you don’t need an excuse to see us.”

“Hn,” Hiei grunted, his mind seemed elsewhere.

Kurama continued, “I kind of miss the old days when we used waste the whole day just hanging out and messing around.” Kurama chuckled, “You know on rainy nights I still half way expect to find you crawling into my bed.”

Hiei didn’t give any indication that he was listening to Kurama’s speech. Not that Kurama was surprised, Hiei was like that sometimes. He didn’t even expect him to respond. It hit him as a shock when Hiei slowly turned his head and looked him straight in the eye, and the words that flowed from his lips even more shocking. Calmly and quietly Hiei said, “Do you love me?”

For long moments the only thing that came out of Kurama’s mouth was his breath as it plumed and dispersed in the chilled February air. Not even the wind dared to disturb them. Kurama was frozen the words Hiei had spoken were so outrageous, so unthinkable, yet his face just as bland as if he’d just asked for the time. Kurama could not absorb those words; he could not process them, let alone answer them. Just then a cry of excitement rang out from inside the house, shattering the awkward silence. It was Yukina’s cry; Kuwabara must have given her the ring. Both demons turned to watch though the patio door as she embraced the man that loved her and gave him a chaste kiss on the lips. All the other girls in the room wore the combined expression of secondary happiness and utter jealously. Yusuke, the only other man in the room wore a smile that thinly veiled his desire to beat Kuwabara.

Keiko tossed Yusuke a dirty look for not getting her a ring. “Poor detective’s going to get hen pecked to death,” Hiei chuckled. “This isn’t really my scene,” he hopped off of the deck and landed weightlessly on the ground, “I’ll be seeing you, real soon.” Then he vanished in a blur.

Kurama drank more at the party than he probably should of, because the next morning, he awoke with a dull throbbing pain in his head. The pain was not helped by the ringing phone. He picked up the receiver and tried his best not to sound hung over.

“Minamino/ Hatanaka residence. This is Shuichi speaking.”

“Hey Kurama,” I was Yusuke on the line, “Uh, okay, like I know it’s none of my business and all, but have you been feeling all right?”

“Um, I think so,” Kurama’s brain was still trying to come alive. “Why?”

“No reason, you were just kinda quiet last night. The girls were getting worried that you might be depressed or something.”

“Depressed?” Kurama said.

“Yeah, ‘cause you don’t have a girl, and it was Valentines Day the most romantic yada yada, whatever.”

Kurama snorted, “You do know, if I wanted a girlfriend, I’d have one. I get offers almost everyday-- not that I’m bragging. I- I just had something on my mind last night-- and it wasn‘t women!”

The line was silent for a minute, and then Yusuke spoke, “it’s Hiei isn’t it?”

Kurama nearly dropped the phone. “You knew?”

“It was kinda hard not to notice.”

“Really? Well I guess you know what sort of position I’m in, then. I don’t want to hurt him, but I can’t tell him that I love him. On the other I can’t tell him I don’t love him-- or even if I say I’m not sure, that’s as good as a rejection anyway. He’d probably take off and I’d never see him again.” Kurama paused at that last thought as it sent a driving pain through his chest.

“Uh, I think we’ve gotten our wires crossed, here Kurama. I thought you were down because Hiei left the party early and you wanted to talk to him some more. But am I getting this right, Hiei said he was in love with you?!”

Kurama could have died there and then, “Technically, he asked ‘Do you love me?’ He never actually said, ‘I love you.’”

“Shit.”

“I know.”

“This shit… it’s all sort of out of the blue,” Yusuke noted.

“Perhaps,” Kurama sighed into the phone, “Then again I have… teased him a lot over the years. Looking back I can see how I might have sent out some confusing signals.”

“You want to, like, I don’t know,” Yusuke’s cringe was almost audible through the phone, “talk about it or something.”

“I think I’ve already said way too much,” Kurama told him. “I’m so sorry for bringing you into this.”

Kurama hung up the phone before Yusuke had the chance to protest. Kurama went on downstairs. His mother and stepfather were away on a romantic retreat, so it was just him and his stepbrother in the house. Said brother was hunkered down on the sofa playing a rather violent looking video game. He’d already managed to get into the junk food and scatter the wrappers over the coffee table. Kurama made a note to himself to make sure the boy got some real food in him.

“I’m going to do some work in the garden shed,” Kurama told his brother. “If anyone calls for me, tell them I’m not here-- unless it’s mom or dad, of course.”

“Okay,” His brother acknowledged him without turning his eye’s from the game screen.”

The garden shed had two windows and a skylight so it could act as a greenhouse for Kurama’s precious rose bushes during the winter months. His roses were in no need of attention that day, having been watered the day before and pruned the day before that.
Kurama just needed some time to himself, to clear his mind. Unfortunately his private time was harshly cut short by a banging at the door. Assuming it was Shuichi hailing him for a phone call, he opened the door. He was stunned to see that the person on the other side of the door was not his bother, but the very subject of his contemplations, Hiei.

“What are you doing here?” Kurama blurted out.

“I told you I’d be seeing you soon,” Hiei explained, letting himself into the shed. He perched himself on a workbench and stared at the befuddled Kurama.

“What you said last night… I think we‘ve had a bit of a misunderstanding,” Kurama kept his voice steady, only by virtue of hundreds of years of practice.

“What‘s there to understand?” Hiei frowned, “I asked you if you loved me.”

“That’s the thing, Hiei. Somehow you are under the impression that I may have feelings for you.”

“And you don’t?”

“No… yes…It’s very complicated,” Kurama said, in his mind, he was telling himself not to get flustered with the small demon.

“Hmm,” Hiei thought about it, “Maybe you’re right, love does have a lot of strings attached to it. Maybe we should start simpler and work our way from there. Do you think I’m cute?”

“Hiei?!” Kurama exclaimed. He never thought he’d hear Hiei use the word let alone ask if it described him!

“Or perhaps, handsome? Pretty? Whatever word you like. But personally, I think the last one describes you much more appropriately.” Hiei traced a dainty finger over Kurama’s jaw line. In spite of himself, a shiver ran down Kurama’s spine. “Or how about these questions,” Hiei continued in a deep purr. “Am I sexy? Do you want me? Well?”

Almost by a will of their own, Kurama’s eyes swept over Hiei’s form, as if he was seeing Hiei for the first time. He did have a cute face with a small mouth and nose, and big expressive eyes all framed with soft looking tufts of wild black air. Kurama noticed that Hiei wasn’t wearing that shapeless black coat of his. Did he do that on propose so that he could see the firm shoulders and well chiseled chest that was barely covered by the tank top? He had a nice trim waist, too. But his hips had just the slightest swell to them that just begged to be held onto while someone repeatedly forced their rock hard-- whoa! Kurama stopped that train of thought. But, under this light, Kurama had to admit, Hiei was kind of sexy.

“We are not having this conversation,” Kurama denied. A wave of heat was setting in Kurama’s cheeks, he was sure Hiei could see it.

“Fine we’ll talk about something else,” Hiei held up his hands in submission. “How about this; why don’t you have a lover?”

“Hiei…” Kurama groaned. Was he going to have to have this conversation with Hiei of all people?

“Is it because your life is too complicated? You don’t want to burden anyone else with it.” Hiei said snidely, “Or should that excuse fail, it’s because they’d be a burden to you. Whatever it’s all cowardice anyway. The fact is you don’t think you’re capable of loving someone without hurting them.”

Kurama narrowed his eyes, “Are you toying with me Hiei?”

“Of course I’m not,” Hiei laid his hand on Kurama’s firm set jaw. “Kurama, you know I don‘t break so easily.”

Hiei moved closer determination written on his features. He treaded his fingers through Kurama’s hair, taking note of its silky softness. He swallowed any fears and what ifs and folded his hands behind Kurama’s neck. He pulled him closer, and covered Kurama’s lips with his own. Kurama’s eyes went wide with shock. Hiei was kissing him! Hiei! Hiei boldly moved his lips against Kurama‘s, first caressing the top, then lightly sucking on the bottom. Kurama unintentionally sighed, allowing Hiei’s quick tongue to dart into his mouth. That clever little muscle raided Kurama’s mouth, finding every erotically sensitive spot. When they parted, Kurama was left dazed and panting.

Kurama didn’t resist when Hiei moved to taste him again. Hiei twined his legs around Kurama’s middle and ground his pelvis on Kurama’s hardening manhood. Kurama groaned as he grasped onto Hiei’s firm rump. His mind was quickly clouding over from pleasures that he’d long gone without. The hot body in his embrace wriggled and pressed against him, while warm hands roved over his sides and back, driving him into higher passions.

“Hmm, Kurama,” Hiei moaned as he licked a trail to Kurama’s ear, “Let’s do it right now.”

Hiei’s voice came to Kurama’s ears, suddenly reminding him who he was with. It was Hiei. He was making out with Hiei!

“You want to--,” Kurama jerked back with a start. “Do you know what you’re saying?!”

Hiei clarified, “I-I want to give myself to you.”

“We can’t--”

“Why not?” Hiei snapped.

“I don’t love you!” Kurama stepped back, putting some distance between them. “I was just being nice to you for gods’ sake. I wasn‘t trying to win your heart. And I sure as hell wasn’t trying to get you in the sack!”

“I know…” Hiei cast his eyes at the floor, “I know you couldn’t possibly have any feelings for me. I mean come on, you’re Youko Kurama. If you were even the least bit interested in me, you would have gotten on top of me long ago. But I hoped--” Hiei covered his passion pinkened mouth with his fist, “I… I see, I’ve made mistake.”

In the blink of an eye Hiei was gone, leaving Kurama to the silent loneliness of the garden shed. Kurama rubbed his palm on his forehead.

“Nice going fox,” he muttered to himself. Kurama cursed himself, in his frustration he’d done exactly what he didn’t want to do. How could he have been so harsh?

Outside, he could hear his brother’s protests, sharply followed by a familiar bellowing, “Damn it Hatanaka, I know he’s here. I ain’t going away until I see him!”

Kurama moved to the door, “May as well let him through, brother, that one’s persistent. Go on back to your games.” After his stepbrother had gone back inside, Kurama leveled an exasperated look at Yusuke. He sighed, “I should have known you’d come.”

“Cha, like I’m gonna leave ya alone while your all angsting and stuff,” Yusuke snorted. “Hey, um, by the way, was that Hiei I sensed a minute ago?”

“He was here,” Kurama confirmed.

“Did ya talk?”

“Are you sure you want to be involved with this?”

“Yes, damn it.”

“Very well,” Kurama put his hands up in surrender. “I made out with him.”

“Wow,” Yusuke’s voice cracked. “S-so you guys are like a--”

“No, Yusuke,” Kurama shook his head, “It was a momentary lapse in judgment, that’s all. And when I snapped out of it… well, I think I made things worse. I shot him down, hard.”

“Shit, Kurama,” Yusuke snapped.

“I know!” Kurama put his hand over his face. He gulped, “I know.”

“Hey, Kurama,” Yusuke said after a number of tensely silent moments. He touched Kurama’s check causing the fox to move his hand and raised his eyes to him. His fingers slipped down his jaw until Yusuke held his small pointed chin between his thumb and forefinger. He whispered, “When you and Hiei kissed, did it feel good?”

“Yusuke!” the redheads face tinted to match his hair.

“Did it feel like this?” Yusuke pressed his mouth to Kurama’s.

For the second time, in a short span of time, Kurama’s body filled with heat. As for Yusuke’s question, no, Hiei’s kiss felt nothing like this one. While, Hiei may have been forward with his body movements, his kiss was gentle, almost inquisitive. Yusuke’s on the other hand was bold, demanding, and nothing short of barbaric. And also really good! Kurama’s hands fisted in Yusuke’s shirt as he allowed his lips to part, just a bit. Yusuke took the invitation at once, slipping his tongue in to ghost over Kurama’s teeth and then on to tease his tongue and the roof of his mouth.

“Hmm,” Kurama groaned.

Yusuke pulled back, panting. With a “Shh,” he placed a finger over Kurama’s slightly parted lips to stop any words that might have come out of them. Swift and sure, he took the fox by the hand and led him out of the garden shed, into the house, and up stairs to Kurama’s bed room. Yusuke shut and locked the door behind him.

“Yu--” Kurama started to question, but that finger pressed against his lips again.

“Shh,” Yusuke hushed before moving the finger and replacing it with his lips.

Yusuke backed him up until the backs of his knees hit the bed. Yusuke’s hands were on Kurama’s hips immediately to slow and guide the fox’s fall onto the bed. Yusuke followed him down with just enough grace that he didn’t have to relinquish the fox’s lips for even a second. Kurama for his part had forgotten all about protesting and was completely involved in their kissing. That was until Yusuke’s sneaky hand creep its way down to the front of his pants. Kurama didn’t even notice his movements until the cool air graced over his heated manhood. He gasped as Yusuke’s warm hand wrapped around his length. Kurama felt dizzy. It was too much. No-- belay that. Yusuke released his lips and crawled down his body. And then before Kurama had time to think, he felt Yusuke’s warm, wet tongue glide over his cock from base to tip.

“Y-Yusuke,” Kurama shuttered, “No, w-we can’t--” Yusuke shot back up and swiftly silenced Karma with another kiss, his hand still pumping at Kurama’s cock.

“I said ‘shh’,” Yusuke told him gravely, “If you can’t, ‘shh’, I’ll have to find something to stick in your mouth to make sure you ‘shh’. What do you think I should use? A sock? A hanky?” Yusuke bent his head to lick at Kurama’s neck. He grinned, “Oh I know.”

Kurama heard the clear sound of a zipper being lowered. Yusuke reposition himself so that his head was pointed toward the foot of the bed and his manhood dangled directly in front of Kurama’s face. Yusuke continued to stroke him. He said, “If you don’t think you can be quiet…” Let the sentence hang as his wrapped his lips around Kurama’s shaft.

“Oh-hah!” Kurama gasped. His brain functions started shutting down. He tried to revive them, but Yusuke’s tongue was moving deviously on the underside of his shaft, flooding his nerve endings with pleasurable sensations and shorting out the rational side of his brain. His hips pumped on a will of their own. His mouth opened. He was going to scream-- but he had to stay quiet. Not because Yusuke told him to, but because some part of his rational mind that was still functioning reminded him that his young step-brother was downstairs. And lord forbid he hear them!

Kurama couldn’t contain it much longer, he needed… he needed something in his mouth! That cock in front of him was so full. He could see Yusuke’s juices dripping from the tip. It looked delicious. Without farther thought, Kurama lurched forward and snagged that cock in his mouth.

Yusuke gave a loud appreciative groan around Kurama’s arousal, sending pleasurable vibrations into the redhead’s cock which, in turn, caused Kurama to return with a groan of his own. Yusuke pulled his mouth off of Kurama’s cock, just long enough to wet his forefinger and place it near the redhead’s entrance.

“Do you like this?” He asked. Kurama responded with an affirmative moan and a particularly hard suck. “Ah, yes, mmmm.”

Yusuke worked his digit into Kurama’s tight hole. It took quite a bit of massaging to loosen the orifice enough for him to get past the muscle, which proved to Yusuke something he already suspected. Kurama had been living a life of abstinence until now. He worked his finger deeper, looking for something he had only read about. He knew he found it when Kurama bucked and tried to cry out around his cock.

“That good huh?” Yusuke muttered, “Never tried it myself… think I’d like to, at least once, ya know.”

Kurama made a sound that was suspiciously like purr. He moved his hand from where it had been gripping Yusuke’s hip, down to place his fingers near Yusuke’s lips. It only took Yusuke a second to respond, opening his mouth to take in those fingers and suck them until they were properly wet. That done, Kurama took his hand back up to Yusuke’s hip, past it, and past the firm globe of his ass to dip into the cleft and probe at the entrance hidden there.

“Oh fuck yeah, Kurama, do it,” Yusuke muttered one last encouragement before his mouth was filled once again with the fox‘s swollen arousal.

Yusuke whimpered a little bit as the fox’s digit invaded his passage. It wasn’t a pained whimper, maybe a fearful one, voiced for the unfamiliar pleasure he was feeling. Make no mistake, Yusuke had asked for this and there was more than a little joy laced in with that whimper. All and all, it drove Kurama mad with lust and pure pleasure. It wasn’t much longer when Kurama found his head spinning and his vision going white as his orgasm ripped through him. He thrust into Yusuke’s mouth and came. Soon, a pungent flavor filled Kurama’s mouth as well. He swallowed it with joy.

“You see Kurama,” Yusuke panted as he sat up to face the redhead, “you over-think everything. Now you see what happens when you just shut your mouth and stop trying to rationalize everything.”

“You’ve lost your mind!” Kurama accused, “For that matter so have I. God, I just sucked off one of my best friends!”

“Pssh, like you’ve never done that before,” Yusuke scoffed.

“Not in this lifetime. Damn it, that was one habit I didn’t want to get back into,” Kurama said. “Wait, how do you know about that?”

“Yomi can be quite the gossip once you get a few drinks in him,” Yusuke shrugged, “And anyway we did have a good time, didn’t we?”

Kurama frowned, “That’s not the point, Yusuke… Yusuke you have a girlfriend.”

“Yeah, but she doesn’t have a dick. It wouldn’t taste the same,” Yusuke chuckled, “And I don’t think she’d have done that thing with the finger, not in a million years. That was awesome by the way. I’ve got to get myself a vibrator or something.”

“I don’t know you,” Kurama said on the brink of hysterics, “I don’t know anything anymore. You’re seducing me. Hiei wants to be loved. What next, is Kuwabara going to show up and propose to me?”

“Chill out Kurama,” Yusuke yawned, “I was just trying to make a point-- okay I was trying to make a point and I got carried away. What can I say, you’re hot.”

Kurama pinched the bridge of his nose, “You had a point?”

“Right,” Yusuke snapped his fingers, “My point; Kurama, you are cool. You are sexy. You’ve got, money, experience, and time. And you obviously want to have someone, so you have no excuse not to.”

“Yusuke you don’t underst--”

“I’m not finished,” Yusuke cut him off, “I’ve heard your excuses. I can’t do this because this would happen. If I do that it’ll only lead to whatever. Now, I’m not trying to convince you to go out with Hiei or anything. If Short-stack doesn’t get ya horny, that’s your deal. I’m just saying that you don’t always have to be so careful, thinking everything out ten steps ahead. Sometimes, you’ve just got to let things happen… or else nothing will ever happen.”

Kurama was stunned, that was remarkable profound for Yusuke. And the worst of it was that Kurama couldn’t really come up with an argument, fore it that wouldn’t be based on lie. But still….

“How does giving me a blow job, work into this?” He asked.

“Well, I think me and you are closer now than we used to be. And it was flipping awesome,” Yusuke nodded, “because of that we’re having this conversation.”

“I’m not entirely sure this conversation is productive,” Kurama sighed and flopped down on his back.

“Don’t matter if it’s productive,” Yusuke stretched out next to the fox, “It’s happening, that’s all that matters.”

Kurama sighed again, not sure what he should think or do-- or even if he should be doing anything. He looked out his bedroom window and idly noted, “It’s raining.”
