The Kurama Brothers

Summary: Youko and Ryou, from Yu-Gi-Oh, are brothers.
This story will start with flashbacks to the
beginning and go to Youko and Ryou taking on human
forms and after.

It was truly a beautiful day. The wind was blowing a perfect breeze, clouds were forming wonderful dances across the sky, and all was pleasantly quiet. Quiet,
that is, if you ignored the occasional shrieks of laughter.
Under a tree were two brothers. One had waist long silver hair, golden eyes, snow white skin, and fox ears. He wore a white tunic and white leggings.
Surprisingly, you could see a long silver tail casually swishing from behind him. Beneath him was a younger version of himself with subtle differences.
He was smaller and had more delicate features; his hair was longer
{reaching his lower calves}. But the biggest difference was his eyes. Ah! What beautiful
eyes. A gentle silver, as silver as the moon shining in the night sky. He wore white baggy pants with a sash crossing his chest and silver bands on his lower
and upper arms. He too had a tail. He also had light
blue markings on his face, a line that went from under one eye to the other, a sliver crescent moon with wings on it, and a star on his shoulder.
He looked about 14, but was really 1,400. They, his brother and he, aged one year for every hundred mortal year. His brother was only 7 years older, although
he looked a bit more mature. The older ones name was Youko and his little brother was Ryou, also known as the Kurama Brothers.
Youko loved his brother more than words could describe. As Youko tickles the little one beneath him, he thought of just what he would do to protect
the young innocent boy. Youko finally decided that the gasping and giggling Ryou had enough torture for one day.
Pulling himself up, he sat next to his panting baby brother. Watching his brother with a far off gaze, he knew Ryou could never survive on his own.
It was strange, because Ryou was the most powerful creature to live in any of the worlds. He was an elemental and a healer. Alas, he was also most likely
the shyest and innocent creature in existence.
Youko's musing was interrupted by a loud noise deep in the woods, followed by a flash of light. Two dark figures came running towards them out of a cave in the
woods. One had long black hair, violet eyes, white skin, and long leather bat-like wings. He went by the name of Kuronua. He was Youko's lover. The other
looked like a human, but was really a king cobra that
could take on a human-like body. He had long black hair with gold stripes, golden eyes, and they called him Fang.
Ryou hid behind his brother, scared of what that noise had been. He looked nervous. Youko, on the other hand, looked excited. Having intruders in their
territory was rare, for they were legends in thievery, stealth, seduction, and fighting. Strangers coming into their territory were not welcome, especially with
his little brother there.
Telling Ryou to stay, Youko, Fang, and Kuronua went to have some fun with their intruders. When they got to the place where the noise had come from, they find a
man staring at the noon sky through blind eyes. Twenty dead bodies lie around him. Youko was, to say the least, pissed.
He knew the man in front of him. The man he once thought of as a father. But the man in front of him had betrayed him in the worst way possible. The same
way his real father had.
