omg this has been one of my wet dreams!! lol! you have no idea how long have i been fantasizing over a fic like this! it has every thing i ever wanted on a freaking fic, its scary!! i had always wanted an OC/kurama yaoi rape fic! no lie! taka's personality is spot on awesomeness! seriously im crying right now reading chapter 4... sorry, i dont mean to sound exaggerating but.. i am soo overwhelmed im shaking in bliss T_T this was just too beautiful. i know im being such a nerd right now ^_^ but i just love kurama uke fics and it has been years since i read a good one! pls pls pls write another story like this one! omg, im soo excited to read the rest >_< i had to read chapter 4 three times so i can enjoy every minute LOL!! if you can recommend fics like these pls email me!

Just finished reading up to chapter 11 of STEPFATHER. It is really exciting. Lots of action and lots of mental anguish. Poor Kurama. Can'twait to read the next chapter. Thanks, Starchilds

Only my knowledge of how annoying it is when people review with that is stopping me from begging you to post the next chapter. What a mean cliffhanger - I love it! You got me all excited and then the chapter stopped!

There's just something about this story that I really love. I can't really put it into words. I love how easy everything is. By easy, I mean like...ksadjf;ajksflj the words just seem to flow so well. Especially the dialogue. I just really love the dialogue. Format-wise, it'd be easier to read if there was a space between paragraphs, but I love it anyway. <3 I can't wait for more.

This is an interesting story. However, the last chapter feels kind of like a side story. I am hopeful you will write more and tell what happens to Sensui and Takasune(is that how it's spelled?). I haven't read such an angsty story that I could read without throwing up in a long time. I like angst but too much makes me sick. The last chapter did help alleviate some of the drama and sadness but I want to know what happens next. I hope you update soon. This is an interesting story.

This fic is one of my new favorites, absolutely. The intrigue, the attempts to make Kurama remain Kurama despite the rape, all the other great things you've done just make me insanely jealous. You're much better at psychology and characterization than me, and don't I know it.
