That is genius. Normally Karasu is just the sadistic torturer but you portrayed him with a love of twisted mind games as well! I loved the idea of how far Hiei would go to protect Kurama, with both of them trying not to care, and the angst is just made of win. Hiei, wishing Kurama hadn't been there the whole time? You really know how to tug at your readers.

I really should have reviewed this sooner, but...well life got in the way. That being said, great fic. Loved the tension in Kurama until he learned the truth. Fox angst FTW!
