Oh man...Hiei is just going to be a mess when Yusuke finally gets him back. The poor thing, he can just never catch a break! As much as I feel bad though, I love the Hiei torture, he's my favourite character too.

The interaction between Kurama and Yusuke is sweet but sad. They do love each other, but I can see how their love isn't as all-encompassing as it should be because they miss Hiei. And I really like how you're portraying Koenma as well. He's not just humour fodder for the show, he really is a godling and occasionally acts like one.

I look forward to this story every day. :D

Well, at least Kichiro has only marked Hiei as a possession. At first I was wondering if you'd be twisted enough to have him mark Hiei like Sabaktu was. And I was wondering, earlier, about the comment among the Shinobi about Shishi--this should prove *interesting*.

Finally! I know Kurama and Yusuke have a long road ahead of them, but for the moment they seem...settled, at least. I do fear for Hiei and his son, but I also realize that Sabie's death is the only thing that can set Hiei free from under him. It really sucks for Hiei, though. I mean, within a week he found out he's a father, going to be a grandfather, going to be a father again, he was placed in a submissive position to his son, his firstborn is dying, and now he's on the lam with a dying son and quite a few buns in the oven. I hope the gang finds him and reels him in before he either gets attacked or goes self-destructive. I'm interested to see how this will play out with Yukina, too, since she's not as naive as one would think.

You have these characters so true to form. Yu is so dumb sometimes and never knows when to hush, good thing Kurama is back and by his side. Hope Hiei is fairing as well.

Yomi--mindfuck. But that's how he always is, no?

Shishi's sarcasm was excellent; it kept the serious tone in check with a bit of (gruff) humor, ha-ha!

And just because childbirth is present in a plot, doesn't mean one must go into all the screaming details like in soap operas and sitcoms. I mean, if one wants, go ahead, but it's not necessarily essential, and I think you pulled it just fine.

And now I wonder--I'm thinking from what's been presented so far Sabaktu's just doomed; plus if Yusuke wants to mate with Hiei also Sabaktu as alpha would be an obstacle (cold, I know, but still)--but you could still surprise us...

Ichiro and Jiro--now I'm having "Kikaider" flashbacks XD

Well, no one's dead, yet, and they know where they are, at least. Optimistic, and at the same time ominous... Or something like that.

And I've decided: I'm going to do a sketch of our poor Sabie, since it looks like he's going to kick it, and he's in my head anyhow. So, at some point, I'll share that with you, okay? ^__^ I look forward to how the Shinobis' search goes!

Ah, it's here! Okay, I've only read Chapter 1 thus far, but I'll probably get through 10 and let you know what I think by the day's end. I cannot tell you how happy I am to see this here. I was thinking that Yusuke and Kuwabara might talk before the latter being processed. But I wonder where Hiei and Kurama--and Sabaktu, for that matter--are right now...? (*Read and find out, idiot*) ^__^

I have to say that I really really like your portrayal of Yomi. In fanfic, he's either a rapist or a stalker, and you've done him justice. I like that he won't take advantage of Kurama, despite Kurama's neediness, and his moment with Shura was very cute. I'm a big Yomi fan and its nice to see him written so well.

I also like how you're having Yusuke handle the repercussions. He's somewhat strong, but occasionally freaks out. And the scene with Kuwabara was sad but sweet. I just feel badly for Hiei - his son's going to die and he can't really do anything about it. Also, I hope Yusuke finds Hiei before he gives birth because what Koenma said makes me worried.
