omg... this story... is really, really intense, in your face, and goes into the details and realities of torture. I'm not sure whether to congratulate you for pulling off a scene I've never seen pulled off, or to call you a sick fuck for writing sommething like this. either way, you've done your homework, and I have to give you props on a fic well written in a way that doesn't LET you look away. though I really think you should put some more warnings on there, maybe in the chapters themselves, but i suppose that the whole fic was kind of leading up to sommething like this. looking forward to the next chapter.

THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SINCE I STARTED THE STORY. GO HIEI! GO HIEI! GO HIEI!
I loved how Yusuke kept backtalking Kurama even through he was being tortured. When he told him to be honest, I cringed. Also: Why does it matter to you? Did I bruise your ego that badly when I told you that I didn't want you? and Kurama slapping Yusuke across the face was awesome. Yusuke's cries for Hiei, even as he was going insane, are so sad and romantic to me, I love how you did that: Kurama pushing Yusuke too far and Yusuke constantly asking for Hiei, and Kurama only getting angrier. My heart was breaking.
But that torture...girl, you have problems. And I like that. How did you come up with the electrocution cage? Is that something that exists? Because that's wrong. Shit, I can't wait for the next chapter.

I am SO glad that this is the last of the torture. Please, please, end it all now and give me back my Kurama. Have Hiei kill him if you must, but let him, Yusuke and everyone else know that everything Youko did and said was NOT the Kurama they had all come to know. And like Yusuke, I, too, believe that that Kurama is still buried deep within the Youko. Please let him come back, if only so that he can make it right with Yusuke before he dies.

This fic is so well written, so dark, so disturbing, so... you. You really know how to put me through it. *sigh* I usually like Youko Kurama, but we've heard in the manga that he was ruthless and liked to play with his prey before killing them, so this ugly side of him is fitting, too. I wonder if this is his true nature, or if his obsession with Yusuke pushed him over the edge. I'm looking forward to the confrontation. Yusuke should be right screwed-up after this. Hiei will have his work cut out for him, poor little emotionally-constipated darling.
