I feel so intensely sorry for Kurama!! He was raped by his stepdad, his emotional support is gone and he just broke up with his lover. What else could go wrong for him?!! Kurama is my favorite character and reading about him being is so much pain is really hurtful!!!

I always did figure that those two wouldn't have the run-of-the-mill lovers' spats. Well then, either Hiei shall have to kiss some serious ass after this, or Hatanaka shall have to go too far with Kurama, eh? (I kid! If Kurama were to be killed, it'd be more dignified at a demon's hands ... unless Hatanaka went totally psychotic, I suppose.) Heh, now I ramble: Anyways, I look forward to seeing how this resolves (or does not) itself.

I don't know how I missed the last chapter of this. One of the things I love most is a casual Yusuke/Kurama relationship and chapter 4 was tasty. Then, you have Hiei confront Yusuke for dominance in chapter 5 and I loved that as well. The Kurama-Hiei scene was painful and you characterized them beautifully. Hiei was Hiei: stubborn, reluctant, insistant for his way without giving an inch. And Kurama was cunning, sad yet beautiful, and you could see his years in the way he spoke. Their incompatibility is heartbreaking and you painted it well.

I can't wait to see what happens next.

Well then, I suppose now we know the story behind the treatment of the "redheaded step-child," is you've ever heard that phrase. The coolness of a demonic relationship, like Hiei towards Kurama, is interesting, and those last lines in chapter four seem promising for what is to come ... I look forward to it ^_^

One of the things I like to see portrayed in Hiei and Kurama relationships is the lack of human programming. They are demons, not humans, and few authors address that fact. You are one of the few. There is a wonderful sort of brutality in their relationship and it comes across nicely in this chapter. I also like Hiei's possessiveness.

I bet Hatanaka is wondering how Hiei managed to slip in and out via the window. He'd be less pleased to find that his days are numbered. You're really taking chances with this fic and I love that. I hope there's more.

ok all i have to say is darn those two demons and their mind games. y cant hiei just except that kurama would never cheat on him and y cant kurama understand hiei is the jealous type. and man hatanaka is a bastard beyond bastards. i wish someone would just punch him, not kill him yet but just punch his lights out. XD update soon. and keep up the good writing

Hiya! ^_^ You've written this in a truly sagacious manner! It is not salient in the way it speaks of the rape of Kurama, but is approached in a very roundabout way. Which, believe me, is VERY good. 8D I think it ruins the atmosphere when vile words are used to convey a scene. I'm eagerly anticipating your next chapter! Please keep up the good work and have a good time writing!
