~jawdrop~ How have I missed this one before? I can only guess I was put off by the initial paragraph (I have a minor Koenma squick) and skipped over it at some point. It's incredible. Beautifully understated, and I don't think I could have resisted the compulsion to have them speak gooshy words but you're right, the silence meant so much more. Fantastic.

I loved it the first time I read and I loved it now. Too hot. Kurama needs a good asskicking occasionlly, lol. And Koenma and Yusuke are always hot to read. I know you've got a lot of fics from LJ when AFF was down so I'm looking forward to re-read what else you decide to post. You're lemons are my crack and your writing is a gift to us all.

Gods, I've read so much of your stuff today! I actually have to find the original post - I read it so long ago and there's been so much alcohol between then and now that I'd need to read the old one over to see the edits. HOWEVER, this one always stuck in my head - I loved Hiei beating the crap out of Kurama, and the use of the safe word - and how Kurama used it when Hiei was badgering him verbally instead of physically.

I liked the whole "You wanted the Makai.." thing. For Hiei really is the Makai and I love the association. It's amazing - you wrote so much while this site was down - are there any other stories you haven't posted yet?

Your writing style never ceases to amaze me, and I love the idea of this story and how you put it across. I picked up on the safeword immediately. I have known BDSM and have dabbled in it myself. It is always a smart thing to have and is naturally a requirement, though most people who claim to be into it don't know or care about it. I'm glad you added this in here, and I liked the way you had Kurama and Hiei not admit what they felt, what exactly they did, and the depths of how they did it. Perfection at it's best. Well done.

excellent work of art as always...I loved this story so much...it's so very easy to picture Kurama and Hiei in an S&M relationship...will you be ighting any with Hiei as the bottom? His embrace of pain with the dagon and his eye seem to make him perfect for the role.
