wow. you're doing a seriously wonderful job here. i enjoyed hearing about hiei's background and understand his hatred of monters. but at least kurama and yusuke are slowly but surely, getting through to him that not all monters are bad. oh! and that lemon between kurama and yusuke.....*droools*. extremely HAWT. both of them. they have such a beautiful bond and i love how the thought of having hiei with them justs seems to bring them closer together. i can't wait to read more. so until next time, ja!

You totally made my day, did I happen to mention that Vampyres+YYH = LOVE? Yeah, I know I did, but it bears repeating. I love that Kurama and Yusuke's need for Hiei adds spice to their own relationship. And the info you gave us on Karasu and Toguro and their realtionship to Kurama and Yusuke just added to an already amazingly good plot...Now I need some kind of scene between Karasu and Kurama!

Hiei really needs to stop denying himself and jump on top of those two. I know, I know, it's hard to break programming, especially if the programming is solidified by tragedy (ie: the death of his parents), but Hiei will be so much better off for doing so.

Wonderful chapter, this story is one of those stories that makes me forget I'm reading fanfiction, I feel like I'm reading a novel.

i love it when my fav. characters are vampires and love it even better that there's some lemon too. i have to say that you are one of the few reasons i still read yu yu hakusho fics anymore.

I can see the tea being a kind of challenge; Hiei's last attempt to try to see Kurama as a monster before giving in. Yet Kurama met the challenge by showing that even if he couldn't drink the tea, he was still human (or non-monster) enough to enjoy its other properties. This is quite good and my roommate says that the Anita Blake books get a bit less gory and much more sexy as they go on, so I'm very tempted now to find the next one at the library. I love the sexual high vampires get from sharing blood, so I can't *wait* for the bonding ceremony. I'll love whatever you give us, but I'd kinda like to see the ceremony not be a lemon in the clothes-off sense, just in the intense emotional bonding that leaves you panting for more sense, then have Yusuke send him home to sleep it off. Leaves a confused angsty Hiei who's still trying to sort out his feelings and gives Yusuke the moral high road that he didn't force anything Hiei wasn't ready for. Let Yusuke wait until Hiei's panting and more than willing before they take him. [Grin] that's my two cents worth. Thanks for updating so soon and I hope you feel better.

Man I'm glad I write these out in Word to spell check them, else I'd loose them with these annoying server problems.

What's funny is that Hiei doesn't realize that Kurama owns Yusuke as much as Yusuke owns Kurama. Kurama's ownership is much more subtle, for - really - what would Yusuke do without Kurama?

All that aside, the lemon scene was dripping hot. Nothing like a little vampyric blood-play to push that lemon into high gear! But, really - Kurama wrapping his legs around Yusuke's waist and being carried down the stairs, and then the desk, and then Yusuke letting Kurama drink from him..........

Now I'm sweating.

And I loved Hiei's backstory, I've never read the Anita Blake books and I don't know anything about the character he's based from, so it's a nice surprise to hear about his past. I know you metioned the white streak in an earlier chapter, but I give you mad props for that (it's is AU and if he has the same hair, it does need to be explained). The whole thing about him raising his parents reminds me of Full Metal Alchemist, especially since it had the same miserable results. You really can't fuck around with death, it'll hurt you if you try to cheat it.

And I used to drink Assam Breakfast tea (it was loose tea, and I had a lovely little spoon strainer), but that company stopped making it. It was very soothing.

I have to say that this is one of your best stories (although I'm a biased goth girl since it's vampyres). I'm a sucker for multi-chaptered fics, and I've never seen anyone else do this before. The pacing on this is excellent and I can't get enough. You please me so.

I love this fic! I've never read Anita Blake stuff, but I'm in the process of finding some of it. I found a really good fic a while ago, and now I must read the series so that I can better understand the story line. Keep writing! ^_^
