Good HieixYuusuke in there without any actual HieixYuusuke... (although there was certainly some YuusukexHiei, even if the brunet denies it x3! ).
Wheeeheehee~~ And we won't comment on how socially backwards Hiei is when concerning relationships and such, if no one's ever loved him before, because he just kissed Yuusuke with the intent to compare and then buuuuuuuurned Yuusuke because the former tantei isn't as good a kisser as everyone's favorite kitsune~ :3
Still a good story so far(even including the absolutely horrifyingly OOC/ridiculously hilarious 'Omake' chapter five)~!

Oh~ And Hiei-kun smiles in the series after they've rescued Yukina and she goes running down to tend to Kuwabara and Yuusuke's injuries. Kurama and Hiei remain in the glass box that Tarukane was using to observe the (staged, ne?) fight between the Toguro brothers and Kuwabara and Yuusuke. Hiei smiles down to Yukina as she rushes to Kuwabara's side in the arena below, but since Kurama is behind him and Hiei's looking out the glass AND no one's looking up at him, at this point, only we fans of the series get to see his little smile.
...and yes, I'm a YYH geek. <
At aaaaaaaany rate, you did a wonderful job on the cute scenes. With the affection and all, ne? Still keeping this fic lovingly in-character~
I look forward to the next chapter~~

You're keeping Hiei's bluntness in the story very well, without making him think his actions over too much, and thus give him the chance to worry about them too much, and therefore over-exaggerate, as many other fics tend to do. :3

Awesome! You're simply amazing! You're one of the few author/authoress out here who can actually write! This meaning you know how to use correct English grammar! You won't believe how hard it's to just find a Kurama and Hiei fanfic that is... just perfect, like yours! People these days simply have the minds of some ten year old brat, and when they are being pointed out, they just get ugly about it. Roll eyes. Please, I'm begging you: write more Kurama and Hiei fanfics! Or Naruto/ Sasuke. Or whatever yaoi couples you want. Heck, I don't really care what you write as long as you write something!

I know this is incredibly late, but what the heck...
This is, without a doubt, one of the most gorgeous and (thankfully) in-character Hiei/Kurama fics I have ever read. Every fandom tends to have a few fics that really define it and I do believe this does Yuu Yuu Hakusho justice. Superb work!

Hello! This is one of the best IC K/H fics i had read so far. Frankly, what i had found on the net, readeable k/h fics are so few! I really wish you would continue writing K/H fics, i am now a fan of yours. Thank you for writing such a wonderful fiction and liven up my mood and certainly makes my day. :-> I would like to urge you to keep writing K/H fics! Spread the love!

Easily one of the best K/H fics I've ever read! I'm glad you decided to do some extensive work on characterization before moving into the smut. In a word... sweet ^^
