I really like this so far & am looking forward to the next chapter. I did notice 1 word goof in this sentence;
Inside the coffeehouse, the scene was utter chaos. One employee – apparently the manager -- was dead behind the counter, having been viscously eviscerated. The remaining employees and customers had all been herded against one wall like cattle, and were shivering in utter terror.
viscously should be viciously. This 1st word is sort of a oily substance description while the 2nd is another word for ferocious, etc.

I was going to pass this story over cause I thought Stargate and YYH crossover sounded silly. But, I read your chapter and I'm curious on how you are going to proceed with this. I will keep a look out for your next update.
