Not bad, not bad at all. I did note a few small errors in grammer, but I think you already know what they are and are trying to fix them, so I'll leave it alone. I'd love to see where this one is going.

Be careful with the rapid perspective changes (mainly between 1st and 3rd person) and there were a few minor mistakes that proofreading would weed out. And the monologues were a little cliche, but I can see their point since you just jumped straight into the story. But, besides that, I rather enjoyed it. I'm glad to see another plain old Yu Yu Hakusho fic without any of the popular bells and whistles (i.e. crossovers, OC, AU, etc.). Please keep it up. I want to see how you develop the story.
